At The Hurlingham Academy, we are passionate believers in the importance of
collaboration. For a school to be successful, everyone – staff and students alike –
needs to be pulling in the same direction. For this reason, student leadership and
voice are a vital part of what we do. We have an active school council which meets
on a half-termly basis for students to give formal feedback on the direction of the
school. These meetings are co-chaired by the Head Boy and Head Girl. Each form in
the school is represented on the council by a form captain.
We also have informal mechanisms for student feedback, including raising issues
through school prefects, and a suggestion box that is checked weekly.
